Jyoti Damsbo Sorensen
Born and Raised in East Africa
My lifelong connection to East Africa shapes every Twendela journey. Born in Tanzania and raised in both Tanzania and Kenya, I discovered my love for Africa's landscapes, wildlife, and cultures early in life. Beginning my career in tourism at 21, I spent over a decade with one of Kenya's top tour operators, mastering the art of designing personal, transformative travel experiences.
Now based in Switzerland, I continue to share my insider knowledge with discerning travelers. My deep roots, trusted relationships, and decades of experience allow Twendela clients to explore Africa in ways few ever can — intimate, authentic, and effortlessly luxurious.
